Make with Love for Your Valentine

Woots!! Valentine's Day is just around the corner!!

Guess what!! If you still cracking your head on what to buy for your sweet valentine, be it a guy or a girl, or even you have a self-valentine or your valentine is your family or friends, try this out during weekends! You may produce the sweetest thing ever~

You will need:
1 hr. 15 minutes for preparation
15 to 17 minutes to bake
10 minutes for cooling


Ingredients [for 28 servings]:
3 eggs
3/4 cup butter
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
2-1/4 cups sugar
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp.of red food coloring
1-1/2 cups buttermilk
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
1-1/2 tsp. vinegar
Small chocolate heart-shaped cookies (optional)
Powdered sugar (optional)


Steps:
1. Let eggs and butter stand 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350F[170 C]. Line 28 2-1/2-inch[6.5 cm] cupcake pans with paper liners; set aside.


2. In medium bowl combine flour, cocoa powder, and 3/4 tsp. salt; set aside. In large mixing bowl beat butter on medium-high 30 seconds. Add sugar and vanilla; beat until combined. One at a time, add eggs; beat on medium after each. Beat in food coloring on low.


3. Alternately add flour mixture and buttermilk to egg mixture; beat on low to medium sped after each just until combined. Stir together baking soda and vinegar. Add to batter; beat just until combined.


4. Spoon batter into prepared pans, filling each about two-thirds full. Bake 15 to 17 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack for 5 minutes. Remove from pans. Cool completely. Top with small chocolate cookies, if desired. Dust with powdered sugar.

ngredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon finely shredded lemon peel
1 tablespoon rose water or lemon juice*
1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons finely snipped rose petals or other edible flowers
Coarse sugar or granulated sugar
Decorative heart-shaped candy sprinkles
Red shoestring licorice (optional)
directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F. In a medium mixing bowl beat the butter with an electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds. Beat in sugar until combined. Beat in lemon peel and rose water or lemon juice. Beat in as much flour as you can with the mixer. Using a wooden spoon, stir in any remaining flour and the 2 teaspoons rose petals. Form dough into a ball, kneading if necessary until smooth.

2. On a lightly floured surface roll half of the dough at a time to about 1/4-inch thickness. Using 1-1/2-inch cookie cutters or a pastry wheel, cut dough into desired shapes (squares, hearts, circles, etc.). Sprinkle each cookie with coarse sugar and top with a heart-shaped candy. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheets.

3. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until edges are just lightly browned. Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely. If desired, tie cookies together with shoestring licorice. Makes about 48 cookies.

*Note: If using lemon juice in the dough, decrease lemon peel to 2 teaspoons.

It could be an exciting period where your friends and families gathered together and you will be eating out and treat yourself well! But!! beware of your lifestyle and have enough rest, because whenever your pimples grow....

If the annoying pimples grow on...
Forehead:
This means that you there is lots of "heat" in your body and some issue on your blood circulation. Reason being you have been over-worked yourself and you have not get enough necessary rest or STRESS, thus causing you to have a bad temper. To curb this issue, get more rest and sleep and drink plenty of water. If it is between your eyebrows, pay some attention to your respiratory system.


Nose:
If it grows along your nose's bridge, it could indicate that your spine is having some problems. If it is at the middle bridge of your nose, the problem may be related to your liver and gallbladder. It will be your digestive system that you need to pay attention to if it grows at the center of the nose and reproductive system if is at the side of your nose. Bottom of your nose indicating your urinary system.


Chin:
Hormone changes that will cause these pimples to grow at your chin. Especially during menstruation, girls easily have these pimples growing around the lips.


Left cheek:
It could be due to liver is not functioning as smoothly as it should be, and your detoxification process is not as proper as it should! Causes for this could be a habit of staying up late and drinking.


Right cheek:
