Pink Ribbon Braid - In the support of Breast Cancer Month

Yes, Breast Cancer Awareness campaign is back again this October! Instead of getting pink gadgets and accessories, why not incorporate the pink ribbon as hair accessories at a low cost? Sharing Ulrika's tute on Yet Another Beauty Site. Check out the step-by-step guide below:

Step-by-step directions:
1. Start with your hair parted to one side, then pull the hair out of the way with a clip or elastic band to make it easier to tie the hair ribbon.
2. Tie the ribbon around your head. It should be long enough to be incorporated into the braid and to tie a little bow at the end of the braid.
3. Let your hair down, and bring all your hair and the ends of the ribbon to one side of your head.
4. Divide your hair into three strands. The tails of the ribbon should join the two inner strands.
5. Begin a basic braid, crossing the two side sections over the middle one as you work your way down your hair. When you reach the end of the hair, secure it with an elastic.
6. Pull on the braid and the hair under the ribbon to make a fuller braid and to make the ribbon show more. Tie the ribbon ends in a bow to finish.
